Mountains
Mountains have many different type of flora and fauna. Different ranges of mountains have different plants and animals. With a different mountain range, the altitude can change making it supporting or non supporting other flora and fauna. Animals that do live in mountain ranges though can consist of Alpaca, Bison, Brown Bears, Coyote and many more. Due to the sub freezing temperatures that mountain ranges have the flora and fauna of the biome have to adapt to their surroundings. That could involve growing thick coats, storing fat and much more. Whilst the seasons go and past in the biome of mountains, the animals of the biome shed and lose fu and there fat. Snow Leopards during the winter hibernate for the totally of the winter, storing fat and growing a thick over the summer in preparation for their 6 month sleep. The reason for these animals to do this is because the temperature that is reached during the winter is too cold for a warm blooded animal to handle, so that is why they hibernate.
